Pre Production

First in setting up the camera you have to set up the tripod you do this by loosening the notches on the sides of the tripod to then extend it to the height of your subject and you can further adjust the height by then turning the upper notches.
Next to attach the camera to the top of the tripod you need to check all the grooves to make sure that nothing is protruding out the grooves so that the camera slides smoothly into the top of the tripod.
After this you have to attach the pan handle to the side of the tripod this is used to tilt and pan the the camera side to side and up and down.
The finally step to set up the camera is to bubble it to do this you will have to loosen spirit level by a quarter then get the bubble to centre inside the bigger air gap and then tighten it again. This means that the camera has become level.

Before we started filming for our opening sequence we had several technical workshops to show us how to work with the technologies we will be using to film our A1 film opening sequences
The technology we will be using to edit the whole of our film opening sequences will be Adobe Premier Pro, this is an editing programme that is widely used even by professionals in big media corporations
We were taught the fundamentals Such as how to drag and drop our raw footage so that we are then able to access all the raw footage from a shoot and cut bits and add them together to make them feel like a film or proper clip.

Between our group we decided to communicate through Snapchat at first though this was not the best form of communication as not all of us were able to access snapchat at the times when we could all talk at the same time.
So we switched the platform to where we communicated on to imessages this was much more efficient as it was an app everyone in the group had and an app which everyone had used so we were able to clearly get all the ideas across that we wanted for our opening sequence.
